Which it does in many European countries; Not being the typical small CUV customer, I'd say it#s not better or worse than most vehicles in it#s segment, though more stylish, and with above average interior materials for it's price range, so nothing too off putting, and the (in Europe at least generous) warranty should have the first owners niggles covered;

I think the lack of dealers doesn't help the so so marketing either...

In the USA, I think two things hurt the 500X. The first is that it looks like an awkward, bloated 500 hatchback 4 door and not very "crossovery". The second was their advertising campaign that lasted a nanosecond and featured a commercial that likened the 500X to the "erectile member" of an old man who took viagra. There was some backlash from people who felt the commercial was inappropriate. Then it was never mentioned again.

Personally, I found that advertisement hilarious, but I can see how in nowadays world of constantly offended people some might feel it inappropriate;

I'm also surprised no one sued Fiat over poping a Viagra pill in the fuel tank of their regular 500 and the car not transforming into an X....

Yes it's imperative to have sexually explicit advertising for a car and to air it for children to see.

no, it's not at all imperative. a sense of humor however would do the country good. Especially when the ad in question is tongue-in-cheek and doesn't show anything explicit at all. I get it, y'all came aboard the Mayflower, but, lighten up, people.

Well fortunately for you, you saw the light and moved far, far away where never is heard a discouraging word. Enjoy Spain.

I'd argue that there is a lot in TV that children should not specifically see, including bith adds and TV shows, that air at times they could; But let#s face it, I don#t think that with nowadays access all internet (the joy of finding dad's Playboy collection will never be understood by nowadays kids ;)) I highly doubt that it's a Fiat commercial, especially one that is IMO funny, is the one thing that ruins their minds and probably even lifes ;)

Btw. yes, I'm Austrian, but have family in the US and have spent time there (though in the probably more liberal than Europe Bay Area....)
