A sensible choice and seriously underrated here in AUS (as Mondeo).

Hey guys, if anyone is still around I would appreciate any thoughts regarding a 2000 Acura Integra GS-R I'm considering selling for $6000.
It has 200k miles though it's super clean and well maintained, one owner, drives smooth and solid, and shifts super slick. Has a several dents and timing belt is due for replacing.
Does the B18 have a good record for achieving high miles? Or might it be soon for a rebuild? It revs and idles smoothly into VTECH, no smoke or leaks or anything. Head gasket never replaced, don't know if that's something to think about.

Just do the timing belt, ASAP. The B18 is an interference design, and it'll ruin the motor if it breaks. Also, have them do the tensioner and water pump as well.
If it's not overheating or using coolant, it shouldn't need a head gasket. The B-series motors are some of the best engines Honda has ever made. It'll be fine.
However, $6000 is pretty steep for this car (although not unheard of). You can likely get a much newer, 2003+ Honda Civic Si (EP3 most likely, but maybe an FA5....) for about that same price. Although Hondas will likely keep on going well past 200K miles, the fact of the matter at the end of the day, it's an 18 year old car with 200K miles. Age related repairs are far more likely.

My immediate thought was the same...replace the belt. Recoup the cost in resale price, and avoid transforming your car into a toaster.

Thanks guys, the timing belt had been done at the 110k mile mark so if I would get it I would immediately park it in the garage and get it done. I wonder if it’s hard to do it myself, I have done timing belts before but not on a transverse layout.
I have seen the GSRs going for $7-9k though they also have lower miles like 90-145k. So despite the cream puff condition I’m not sure if 6000 is too much. My plan is to detail and restore it to a degree, enjoy driving it for at least a year or so and then resell it for a possible marginal profit (unless I end up liking it too much then keep).
I never really liked to look of the ep3 but I just found a black one for $4500 so I might check it out. Though I read it doesn’t have a full vetch engine. The fa5 while newer feels a bit too hardcore and caffeinated and the engine looks to have poor access for maintenance.

I've worked on the FA5, it's fine. Also, the B18 is an easy timing belt to do, but if you're not comfortable, pay someone.

Deep respect for the platform but the #1 reason I would not buy an Integra is it's attraction of thieves. Especially a higher spec model.

I'm sure I can do it myself and save plenty too. Right now though, after much contemplating, $6000 is a bit too much for the miles it has I think.

Yes, excellent point I have been thinking of as well. I just don't think I would be able to enjoy taking it places like school or work when I have to worry all the time it will get stolen or vandalized. Sucks big time. I guess I could install an alarm with an immobilizer, but I'm guessing it's expensive for a good one.

Check this out, a super clean Alfa Romeo Sport Sedan! I never heard of this model before though it looks so much like an E30. It's a barn find that hasn't run since 1992 so will definitely need some work. Still though, little rust and looks to be in impressive cosmetic condition other than the ripped seats. $1800 or better offer. What do you guys think, is it worth it? Do these have any value or better to stay away?

That is an Affa Romeo Alfetta (that also gave birth to the gorgeous GTV coupe), with a Transaxle gearbox, and it was launched in 1972, so 10 years ahead of the E30. Staring life as an Italian car in the early 70ies, naturally it suffered the same rust issues as most other contemporaries (and VWs of that era, thanks to buying cheap Eastern European steel with impurities inside), so survivors are few. But beautiful car, though, again, the earlier (and leas plastic trim, the better). Given they are rare, and this looks clean, I think it definitely has classic potential
