How come on The Simpson's, Maggie stays an pacifier-sucking infant, between 1-2 years of age, who still doesn't speak (but occasionally babbles) through the entire series run (so far), but Quik-E Mart owner Apu and his wife's octuplets who were born later in the 1999-2000 season, have grown to pre-school toddlers.

Good question?! Never noticed that.lol

Here's a goofy idle thought for the day...
Why is it that Scooby Doo speaks like how it's perceived that a dog would talk if one could, halfway between barking and speech, with every word beginning with "R's" (like Astro from the Jetsons, who he's derived from), yet younger and little Scrappy Doo speaks in regular human dialect?

Here's an idle thought for today...
It seems that a rock or musical band, be it local, tribute, or signed, is referred to as a "band", and no longer a "group", and for some time. However the ladies that follow them around are referred to as "groupies".
This thought occurred to me when a friend of mine, a few years older, had recently gone to catch a performance of The Moody Blues, and stated that "they're my favorite group", and I noticed that the group reference hasn't been used for some time.

Idle thought for the day...
This once brought up by a wise and insightful man - There is only one God, and if there is any life in solar systems far beyond in this galaxy, or out in galaxies in the far reaches of space, then they have the same God.

Idle thought for the day (12/12/12)...
If there's a kid somewhere that was born at either 12:12AM or PM on 12/12/2000, 12 may be his lucky number, for he would turn age 12 at 12:12(AM or PM) on 12/12/12.

Just an idle thought for the day (12/20/12)
Tomorrow (12/21/12 - another one of those weird-numbered dates) is supposed to be the end of the world, according to the ancient Mayan calender, now, I'm wondering if it's necessary to continue reporting upcoming automotive news on this site?

An idle thought for Christmas Day...
We all snarf down a lot of foods and goodies for the Holidays, and not necessarily because we're hungry, but it's there, and it's so good, but, if it were all fruitcake, no one would touch it.

A goofy and idle thought for the day...
Why does Donald Duck, along with his three nephews, speak in a barely-understandable mash-up between duck-quacks and human speech, yet he has two uncles that speak in clear human dialect, albeit one with a Scottish burr and one in a German accent?!
