Reverse of fortune?

Leave that for the home market. I don't feel the exterior, unlike the exterior of current Sonata's.

Inteior, however, is top-notch, imo.

not feeling the bigger azera lamps/grill either. I guess they're trying to go for classy instead of sporty. gotta see more photos tho.

Reverse of fortune

I would not dare to say that when the oversized inventory of the current Sonatas is embarrassing the fat lady.
I think this new look seems much more substantial than before. It has more of a family car look than the average Joe look. This look has a better appeal than the current look of Sonata. It is more conservative but I like it a lot better.

Just speaking from a visual POV. The current Sonata has been praised by almost every source, with the exception of the interior visual and setup (personally I think it's done with the ease of the driver in mind; while styling is subjective, to point out the obvious). By the way, how accruate is the source of the new front posted above?

Anyway, long story short, I'd really like the combination of these two:

I think it is a reliable source where it came from.
Do you get the look of the new Lexus LS460 from it?

They should have kept the exterior similar to the current one... I dont like the big grille and the new bumper. As for the interior it looks great except the steering wheel.

The interior shows the taxi-version, which shows the meter below the dash. Also, it is most likely the grille won't make it here in that form as the domestic market variant is more luxurious and adorned with chrome bits.

I'm concerned about how Hyundai is re-positioning their brand. I think the slow down in Sonata sales is being hurt by Hyundai's ineffective marketing/branding effort. They aren't communicating what makes a Hyundai special or why people should even bother to look at one.

The Sonata is too easily ignored by their primary prospects; People looking for a great deal and a quality car but who don't know enough about the new Hyundai to give the brand consideration for making really good cars.

I just hope that with this new interior and facelifted exterior they get the word out instead of running ads with 'empty' space telling people to 'Think about it?" What the hell is that campaign about anyway? I thought it was about getting people to buy their freakin' cars!!!
