It's really close to the original.

Hey The1

If you look closely these pictures are not of an original 500, its a Steyr/Daimler/Puch sporty variant! That looks really hot and actually I like it more than the Fiat 500 we've all known!

love the interior of the car more than anything, really do adore that car. Waiting for the 100HP version to come out, which i have very high hopes for.

It does look hot indeed, especially when it comes to Australia. I mean, with that roof, It's bound to be very, very hot. Especially under the Aussie summer sun...

Hope its an option only.

Fiat have done a really great job with the 500. Balanced and good looking mini from all angles - a great modern interpretation of the original.

the brera has the glass roof and that wasnt optional unfortuanatley, although i see heaps of minis running around with glass roofs. I heard that they are double UV glazed or somthing and that is suposed to keep heat out

Yes they are, though its still not as effective as a tin roof.

Anyway, I doubt it'll be a big issue anyway, and I doubt the roof is standard, unless they're positioning it against the Mini, which would be a bit dumb.

I'll jump on the bandwagon and say they've done a fantastic job with the styling and the interior.

It captures the charm of the original, which is quite an achievement when you think of the many ways it could have been ruined.
