Default 201? Volkswagen Transporter T6

http://www.vwvortex.com/news/volkswa...aught-testing/

Quote:
The next generation of Volkswagen’s popular Transporter model has been spied during powertrain testing in the countryside. Cars were seen wearing camouflage on their front ends and interiors, hinting at a revised front fascia and dash.

It's funny how VW can do minivans of different sizes for Europe but is so clueless about a minivan for the NA market that they turned to Chrysler to create the unloved VW Futon. I think was its name...

I doubt this is the T6, but intact the final facelift for the T5 before the T6 comes out.

The Caddy was recently caught with the same front camouflage, rear covered and the dash too.

Well it's reported to get a Golf5>Golf6 treatment, according to these reports only the T7 will be an all-new model.

They would be overpriced and too small for the US, even more than their sedan/hatchback offerings. Plus, back when the Voyager got it's VW grille, the Euro Sharan was a not so fresh ca. 15 years old and ridiculously outdated, only selling on fleet managers VW preference. The larger T5 is too much commercial vehicle (and way too expensive for the Vanagon crowd), the Touran is C-Max sized without any kind of design.....

A shame VW canned producing the Microbus Concept from all those years ago. Now that would have been a cool van. But alas, looks like VW seem intent on boring us to death.

T6 caught testing agin, this time with interior shots:

If you look at the pictures of the Multivan Alltrack concept from earlier this year I think the dash is the same.

Actually the Alltrack used a polished up version of the current Multivan interior (VW has two interiors on offer, a more rugged looking one - made of all hard plastic - and a more posh, with some soft surfaces and actually different shapes altogether even if you might notice changes just at second look (as it is with many changes done by VW).

The prototype seems to have an all new dash though, more integrated and driver focused (like in theGolf Mk. 7) than before.
