Default 2019 Nissan Altima

Definitely looking better than the generation it's replacing, minus the floating roof. Obviously the floating screen is the newest overused design trend, following the 6 and Accord in the midsizers.

Looks promising. The current Altima is a big step down from its predecessor (along with the Sentra and Versa), so hopefully this will be a return to form.

It will remain a highly incentivized, third-rate alternative to the CamCord. The Altima just isn't as rock solid for reliability as the CamCord.

Doesn't look half bad so far.

Probably irrelevant to Australian buyers though as Nissan Australia will find some excuse as to why they won't be importing it here - beyond hopeless they are.

I actually don't mind the design of the current-gen Altima. It's inoffensive but not completely bland. Not particularly interested in owning one b/c I imagine that there are other cars in the class that are both better drivers AND more comfortable.

I'm really liking the slimmer dashboard designs and consoles we've been seeing lately (Ford, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan), although it looks like they are all designed by one studio.... ::sigh::

The flat bottomed steering wheel has officially become a BS "racy" cliche.
