Default 2020 JD Power Initial Quality Study

https://www.jdpower.com/business/pre...lity-study-iqs

Dodge and Kia ranked highest, Tesla would've dead last, if it had been ranked. Tesla didn't get ranked b/c Tesla wouldn't give permission for the company to contact its owners in 15 states....

I'm shocked re: Dodge...

Journey? That product alone should have torpedoed Doge... this list feels really wrong.

I guess making the same vehicles with nearly zero updates for 10+ years really helps them nail it...

I still wouldn't put it past Dodge to screw up an old product. I was also quite surprised by Dodge's ranking.

Given the ownership time is 3 mos and that infotainment constituted a large % of the complaints, I'm wondering if FCA's (and Kia's) easy-to-use infotainment led to the high rankings (although Kia has been better in multiple ways). Both makes have infotainment UX's that car mags generally say are among the most intuitive to use.

Kia doesnít surprise me...they make a great product. Their QC is exceptional, and even more so when looking at the value equation. Dodge? Iím really questioning that.
