I was thinking today of how cool it would be to see Group B rally revived and what a Group B car would look like today.

Yes please! That would make an awesome contest.

Another idea... design a sub-£6,000 budget car, a proper 'people's car' like the original Beetle or Mini, that captures the public's imagination.

Good idea!

I'd like to see a contest to design a new stylish people carrier. Most people dismiss them as extremely boring, but there's lots of metal-work to carve into interesting shapes. There's lots of room (quite literally) for improvement on today's designs.

If Lincoln gets a rebadged version of the Mercury Comet that was supposed to be coming out, does that mean no more productionized Concept C?

more like what the heck happened to the design section? Participation is at an all time low, but if there is enough interest for contests, we can get some going.

How about this for a contest/challenge: create a new face for Lexus that is not a spindle...

or

If you had to reinvent the Golf so that it broke its ties to 1974, what would it look like?

or

create a new face for Lincoln that is more patrician than blingy.
