Default New Contest Idea's Discussion

OK guys, for all you winners out there who can't think of a contest, here's the place to share ideas.
And no ''Plz, Plz Plz do My iideA, oH plz Plz???''
If that happens, the thread will be locked.

The decision goes with the winner, no one else.
Have fun.

i think that was the first contest topic on the new forum, although it should probably be used again since there would almost definitely be a better turnout...the idea i told aidan about was to design a hydrogen "skateboard-chassis" car, since it's a very different layout than cars today and i thought it would be interesting to see how different people would interpret it. if aidan decides that that's going to be the topic of the next contest, i'll probably enter a montgomery hydrogen concept, since i've been planning one for a while...

What's the point of the thread, then?

In any event, the hydrogen topic is interesting but not challenging, IMO. You can essentially design any car you want and call it hydrogen powered... there's no real criteria here.

I would say a "keep it real" car
For all of you there is a concept of the car of tomorrow, is it a sportscar?, a minivan?, a minicar?, a sedan?, a crossover?, a SUV?, whatever.
I say everyone picks hes own car having in mind a realistic car of the future.

well, i mean on a skateboard chassis, like the ones GM does. not the typical body styles that exist today...what i kinda meant was for the topic being to draw a car without having the constrictions of an internal combustion engine up front or anything like that...although i like velstatis' idea alot too...

How about *Designing a car for any developing country*. I am not impressed with the alsoran designs italian styling studios are giving chinese cars.

It would force the designer to do some research and expand creativity. Renault tried with the Dacia Logan, but function triumphed form, so it would provide a chalenge.

Then why not the new generation of midsize sedans, rather than restricting it to just the Honda Accord?
