Cinema Thread
Ok as the thread title suggests, what latest movie have you just seen at ze cinema, or even looking forward to seeing. :grintoothless:
I just saw Wall-E last day, and all I can say is amazing. Best animated film I've seen in ages.
still need to go and see hancock, and indy lol. Also saw the happening with wahlberg, not the greatest movie I've seen.
also looking forward to the
new x-files
new batman flick
bond of course
Hellboy 2
journey to the centre of the earth,
space chimps
step brothers
Pineapple Express
star wars, clone wars - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1185834/

Let's see, speaking strictly international/Holywood films, the last ones i saw where The Incredible Hulk which I enjoyed very much and Indiana Jones which i also enjoyed. Watched Iron Man twice so yeah, i liked it!
Mostly looking forward to The Dark Knight (by FAR the most anticipated movie on my list) and Hellboy II. I plan on going to watch Wall-E as well Ascariss, i don't know if it came to cinemas here yet.

Wanted, one of the best movies ive seen. I havent seen a good movie in a while, but this one completely blew me away. Angelina Jolie looks sick in it, and the role she plays is awesome and we get to see her butt ;) lol. Movie was awesome overall, would watch it over and over.
Also watched the happening, i couldnt help but laugh when it was raining people and just seeing people take 2 steps back and BOOM... this probably was one of the most pointless movies ever, with a really bad ending, wahlberg is a great actor, but i think i wasted close to 2 hrs of my life lol...
Girlfriend wants to go see Wall-e and i kinda do too lol, def looking forward to Dark Knight and new 007.

Ah, still haven't seen Wanted... it looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to The Dark Knight (watching the video of the Tumbler lapping Silverstone helped :) ) and Tropic Thunder.
To say nothing of Bond

going to see Hellboy II this Friday. over the weekend I plan on seeing Wall-E. My parents saw Wanted on Saturday. They liked it. I can wait for the DVD. but for anticipated movies, ive already got my tix for TDK at my local IMAX theater...cant wait.
and I am very glad to know I am not the only person who has heard about Tropic Thunder. thats probably second on my anticipation list.

WALL-E is pretty ok...it's a bit moralistic but a good kids movie
Kung Fu Panda was also a hit with the 5 year old

only movies i've seen recently that i can think of were the happening and get smart, which were ugh and funny respectively.
was looking vaguely forward to quantum of solace before i saw the trailer, now i'm dying to see it...wasn't sure if it could meet casino royale's high standards, now i think there's an excellent chance it will meet if not exceed them
harry potter 6 is coming out this fall, i'm looking forward to that as i'm a casual semi-fan
really want to see WALL-E, my reasoning being "sci-fi + pixar excellence = awesome"
surprised star wars is hitting theaters again (tho in this case it's just a kick-off for the new TV series) so as a self-confessed SW fan i'm quite intrigued by clone wars
and in the far off future (summer '09) i'm dying to see star trek XI; yeah they're making ANOTHER trek movie, but it's a completely new cast and crew (JJ abrams is behind it)...i'm a nerd, i know =/

As long as it's not another Borat, that could be funny.

its like Borat, but a funnier character. Bruno is funnier but more believable than Borat was.
