Ok I realized I could add new smilies and so I have. If you can't see them when you reply (not quick reply), you need to turn on extra posting options. Click this link:

It will take you to the options panel, or go to User CP, then Edit Options, then scroll all the way down, and you will see this:
Select standard editor, extra formatting contorls, this will add smilies, bold, underline, etc.
When you reply, you will see this:
Click the smiley on the right to add it to your message, press the more button for additional smilies. I don't have all the old smilies from the ZF board, so if anyone has them or has links to them, please post them here in this thread. If you think you have a smiley that you want added, please post it here. Of course not all smilies will be added, but we'll try to add as many as we can.
