And yet we were not talking about that.

Whilst I will agree that Audis usually have high quality switch gear, but the proportions are - in case of the A8 especially - hardly something to write home about...

Lincoln should put suicide doors on all the black label models, starting with the navigator. That way someone might actually care.

Great idea but not enough market volume to justify the engineering. Given that the Continental is a stretched Fusion, I wonder if rigidity can be maintained without adding road hugging weight.

agreed the A8 will never properly compete with the S class as long as it looks like a wannabe premium car with that giant overhang. same with the A6. Per a lot of reviews, the Continental also isn't that great of a ride relative to the competitors, including the Genesis.

A lot of snobs won't consider the Genesis G90, but it can be had for Continental money and is simply a better vehicle. The Continental was a very hasty execution and the sooner it can be replaced (with perhaps a Tesla S competitor) the better.

I agree that it's not up with the best, both in terms of general design nor materials, but the G70 is showing the journey is going in the right direction.

It's also worth noting that the German premiums look and feel expensive when you properly send money on optioning them out (and that can often mean doubling the base price), base models can feel properly cheap and lack fundamental premium goodies and equipment, but given they have the right badge, few people like to point that out (and press cars are usually fully loaded at 200+% of base price)
