This is indeed a pleasant surprise, and you made my day!
Welcome back to CSS, McLaren P_10, now there's no more void! I'm truly sorry, regarding any family issues, but I hope that they have been addressed, and successfully.

During the time, a large percentage of what had been discussed in this thread have materialized and taken place, and much more had been going in the industry, some very exciting happenings and developments!

Nowadays, there's the electrification, and the boom in developments of EVs, and of all types. The performance of many EVs, such as Teslas, are even challenging the supercars! Also, there's the expansion of the lineups of many marques, branching out into additional segments, and even many new, upcoming marques. There was much excitement just recently in Geneva, and New York is coming up this week, where I'll be in attendance (the public event, not the press), then Beijing in April.

I'm now looking forward to the upcoming posts and information!

So two announcements that news is coming? Why not just give the news and dispense with the teasers?

Yes, Easter would likely be a busy time with family, gatherings and even traveling. April Fool's Day posts and news may not always be taken seriously, or, falling back on a term that's in vogue today, it would be regarded as fake news.

Of the many exciting developments taking place, I'm wondering more about Cadillac's recent news. Now we have a nicely-updated CT6 and an edition of the CT6 V-Sport, the former gets the 500HP version of the new, exclusive twin-turbo, DOHC 4.2L V8 while the latter gets the more potent 550HP and 627lb-ft mill. Now there's talk about a production variant of the well-received Escala concept, but perhaps for 2022. Johan did say earlier, and reiterated it, that a flagship is on the way, but it won't be a 4-door sedan, and that the world does not need another 3-box sedan. The Escala is a 4-door fastback coupe with a rear lift-back, and not a sedan. Also, there was the report of the Cadillac "halocar coming up, I'm not sure if this is something else in progress, or is it one and the same as the flagship/Escala? Then there's the report of GM's electric efforts and Cadillac getting a larger portion of the models. That follows up with reports of a low-slung coupe as a part. Could that be in reference to a halocar? Johan did go on to say that he will not take the brand top-tier to compete with Rolls-Royce.

Then there's news at the Jaguar/Land-Rover camp, where it's reported that the successor to the large XJ will take a different direction, and become a large, all-electric offering to set it apart from the S-Class and 7-Series peers. This is said to be developed alongside of a new series a Land-Rover, a Road Rover line, which is supposed to blur lines of a luxury sedan and SUV more, and share underpinnings with the next XJ.

Mercedes-AMG has much going on, and there's word of a new top-end AMG73 line, which would be a hybrid and have the twin-turbo 4.0L V8 mated to an electric motor, and collectively put out some 805HP. This would be offered in the new GT 4-door Coupe and other Mercedes-AMG models. Also, AMG is reported to be instrumental with the design of the next-generation SL-Class, setting it apart from the GT, where it will be a larger 2+2 model, as well as far more dramatic. Also, being that the AMG 73 designation is set to arrive, I understand now that the V12 power-plant will now only be designated to Mercedes-Maybach models.

Then, there's all the electrification going on, with BMW's i range, with an upcoming i4 and production iNext, and going up to an i7, possibly a high end SUV, and a sportster to succeed the i8. There's Mercedes-Benz's EQ family, which will get a range, including a large sedan. Then there's Volkswagen's major efforts in electrification, from the I.D. family in the MEB chassis, to the J1, with the Porsche Mission E, an Audi E-Tron GT, and a Bentley 4-door all-electric coupe. Afterward, there's the PPE chassis and the SPE, for the 2-doors and supercars, which could include an electric Lamborghini and Bugatti. The recent Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion concept looks to be pointing the way to an all-electric large-sedan flagship successor to the Phaeton.

Now, here's another one, and I've seen this on soclal-media, as well as covered in a couple of the major automotive-news sites, this one by Godsil Industries. This is evidently a new and American top-tier effort, and one that's to be powered by a natural-gas V16 engine. So far, news of the engine is out, and CGI designs of a large 2-door GT coupe have been released, the Godsil Manhattan. The line is set to expand with a mid-engined supercar, a large sedan and an SUV, according to posts. Dribs and drabs of information get released, but that's about it, not certain if this is vaporware. Here's the site: www.godsilindustries.com

Of course, at the Ferrari camp, you have development of their SUV, as well as hybridization.

Looking forward to the news and updates coming up this week!

Well its officially news day,..... So lets get on with it right!

Bugatti, has a new Chairman and he's no stranger to the supercar world,..... It's Former Lamborghini Chairman Stephen Winkelmann and with him comes plans to make Bugatti the ultimate Atelier brand! As we've seen thus far he's rewrote the Bugatti plan by adding the Chiron Sport, which shed weight, but did not get a power increase and with good reason,...... Bugatti now turns its attention to as I have been told 3 concepts for a second model range! All are set to be priced lower then the Chiron and it's successor! As we've all heard Bugatti are working on a hybrid 2+2, which would likely recieve a tuned version of the Bentley hybrid system and possibly a enlarged V-8 to push horsepower higher! As its being called Atlantic, with early whispers of 800+ bhp! The second model is of course a modern Royale, the concept is in essence a stretched Porsche Panamera fitted with a likely twin-turbo or twin-supercharger W-16 with 1000+ bhp sent to all 4 wheels! The last concept is a ultra luxury SSUV, built off the VAG suv chassis, but set up for speed and luxury! Rumors say that it could get a hybridized W-16, or it could very well get a much rumored bespoke new engine that Bugatti has been talking about! I heard that we will be getting a Chiron SuperSport, but it won't happen until roughly 2021 as the swansong variant! My sources suggest that a hybrid Quad-turbo W-16 has been in a test mule already and it has roughly 200 bhp to the Chiron, add to that the Chiron Sports weight saving and more to come with this model we could see the crown return to Bugatti!

Mclaren, are hard at work finalizing the BP23 hyperGT, as well as getting the Senna's ready for delivery, but its whats being called a black project that will have everyone worried! Mclaren are studying new hybrid methods for the P1 successor as we speak! The BP23 will use a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V-8 mated to a slightly reworked version of the P1 GTR's hybrid system with a horsepower rating over 1000 bhp it will be the fastest and most powerful Mclaren for now,..... I say that to say that the P1 successor will become the ultimate Mclaren and debut a lighter weight hybrid system that can be shared with all of their ranges! If thats not enough, there's still a full EV tgat they are studying and could present later this year! As for the new Ultimate Series naming system,.... Recently I have heard that Mclaren will pull names from its heritage of champions for names,..... Which means we could see Hakkinan, and Hamilton to name a few!

Mercedes-AMG are finalizing the Project One hypercar and setting to work on the SL-class which will likely remain a 2 seat cabriolet despite the rumors of a 2+2! To switch such a iconic model to a 2+2 would cannibalize the S-class coupe and cabriolet sales! As I have been hearing the 73 nameplate will return, but as to which engine it will be attached is the question? We all know about the hybrid twin-turbo 4.0 liter V-8, in the GT 4door concept it made 800+ bhp, but I also know that the next generation of AMG V-12's are coming and the rumor is lighter, more power, and possibility for hybridization! So thats putting the 73 and 63 nameplates on the same page! As if thats not enough AMG could also be planning a second supercar model?? Think of it as a SLS MK2, the early idea is a front mid- engined hybrid 53 in- line 6 with a rumored 550 bhp with a next generation aluminum space frame chassis that will underpin the SLS MK2, the SL-class, but with its focus on weight saving!!

Pagani,.... As we all know Pagani has always stayed true to form with its artful and speed driven cars, as we all know Pagani limits its model and the deal with Mercedes-AMG forced Pagani to build only 100 coupes and 100 roadsters of the Huayra, plus the special edition BC and upcoming BC Roadster due to the plan for a new twin-turbo V-12 thats currently being worked on at AMG! The next generation of Paganis are being studied and conceptualized as we speak! The Huayra successor will get a dry sump twin-turbo V-12 and offer up a manual gearbox as well as a paddleshift setup currently being calked the C10, will follow true to Pagani design language, and will carry over many ideas from the Huayra! As if this isn't enough Pagani, Bosch Technologies, and Mercedes-AMG are collectively working together on a full electric Pagani,..... Rumor has it that this idea was born out of Horacio Pagani not wanting to add the weight of a hybrid to the C10, so AMG and the Mercedes-Benz EQ brand with the Power+ stepped in to help Bosch with the engineering! Rumored to be a second model with a modular chassis setup based on the C10's to bypass the crash testing needed for a second chassis! As if this isn't enough Pagani is said to be working on a special project that could be shown later this year,..... I've heard its not another Zonda, but if it was who'd care? They are still the most beautiful cars! I mean we are still in awe of the $15+ million dolar Zonda HP Barchettas,.... So whatever this new project is I'm sure it will be beautiful!

Next update coming in a bit, stay tuned

You either have news or your don't. Just report what you have when you have it. There is no need to act like the keeper of the pot of gold.
