Is it me or do the white and black trucks look quite different (doors, grille, etc.?)

The white truck is the new Elf. The black one is just a facelift of the current

The current one was also sold as a Nissan (Nissan Atlas/Cabstar)

But not anymore:

No the black one is just a smaller version of the new one, however there was a facelifted version more current than the older ones shown above, those are pretty old, like pre-2003. It think it looks really good, sales will probably rise, especially with the diesel hybird versions. Also, it is reported that Isuzu is in the final stages of purchasing land for a new North American plant.

I like the Nissan Cabstar out of all. I can't understand your last phrase though. Is the Cabstar discontinued?

I meant there's a new Cabstar (the grey one in the pic) that has nothing to do with old one (discontiuned in Europe last september). New Cabstar has been developed by Nissan (old one was just an Isuzu badged as a Nissan). Nissan has an agreement with Volvo Trucks and it will be sold also badged as Renault.

Thought Elves were meant to be green and live on the North Pole :)
