Hideous.

HIDEOUS.

The green one looks sickening, and the whole car looks ten times worse then the previous generation, which was overall less curvy, and more better looking.

The goal was to have it cubed, not curvy-cubed.

Yuck!

Oh come on, it's not that bad! :) While we will miss the extreme squarish design of the previous model, we must remember that the new Cube has to meet NHTSA safety standards, so that's why the new model has a somewhat more "rounded" look.

I'm hoping that Nissan will use the same drivetrain as the Versa--namely the 1.8-liter I-4 rated at 120 bhp with either six-speed manual or CVT automatic--for the North American market Cube. For the JDM version, the most powerful engine is a 1.5-liter I-4 with a CVT automatic--essentially the same engine found on the JDM Nissan Tiida (as the Versa is known in Japan).

i like it, but it looks alot...dumpier than the old car. the old one was really superb, it still looks fresh more than half a decade after it came out, and its stance and detailing were all spot-on. while this new one still has tons of character and is likeable, it looks like it's been stuffing itself with twinkies...

Looks like the NA version isn't getting the psuedo-bench seat.

I despise it. If that's a "cube" then I'm Barack Obama.
