Very nice though not quite as aggressive as I thought it would be. Still, classy truck, one I wish we'd get here.

Full gallery at Autoblog. The full-width chrome bar at the top of the grille gives it a sort of " angry unibrow" look up front, but otherwise very nice.

The rear looks like it was grafted on from the previous gen. It kinda spoils it for me, i like the fact that the front isn't overtly agressive / in-your-face.

Maybe Mazda can pull it off better.

Pretty nice, especially compared to the archaic USDM Ranger which is in it's way out. To bad that this is not for the USA, along with the Mazda cousin. It's amazing that the old Ranger soldiered on from 1983, where it's basic roots are from. The same BOF chassis basically lasted on through now, which is it's end, and was re-bodied along the way, and facelifted between it all, too, and the chassis also underpinned the the Bronco II small SUV in the 1980s, and the successor, the first-generation Explorer from MY1991 all the way through MY2001, and this also went through revisions along the way. This platform lasted almost as long as the BOF Panther for the large sedans, which is set to end in 2011. It appears that Ford has been known to get some use and miles out of some chassis, whether their ongoing for decades, or many model lines are based on them.

looks like a fusion on steroids with nissan taillights, although it is nice looking from the front. wonder how something like this would sell in the US now that it actually has some style. it's been missing the F brand though. call it an F50 or F100 and see how it sells in the USDM.

Looks pretty nice, though the lack of any notable surface definition on the side confused me at first. Interesting to note the the 3-bar grille and XLT badge on the back, which should signal US intent more than anything...a bit frustrating, that.

Nice interior, too; it's more trucky than the Mazda's but perhaps a bit bland, design-wise. I like the door cards and steering wheel, though the overall design reminds me of the last-gen Nissan Sentra.

I would rather have the archaic current USDM ranger over this anyday.

Although the rear does look more facelift than new, overall externally, it still looks very clean, tough and modern. Much like the exterior, the interior is pretty spot on also. Overall, a great effort by Ford and think that its sales prospects look far more promising than the Mazda's.
