Looks like a big increase in wheelbase, Is this in addition to the normal (shorter) TC?

With the extra row of seats, it could be a convincing counter offer to the Caravan where you sacrifice a bit of size, but get better MPGs with similar convenient features.

There will be two wheelbase options in the US, so we'll be getting the shorter TC shown in Paris as well.

I'm really intrigued to see how well it will do sales-wise. Apparently this is effectively the "replacement" for the gas-powered C-Max in the US. Compared to the C-Max it should be rather roomier and more practical thanks to the boxy shape, but I wonder how much refinement will be missing. Being based on a commercial vehicle I doubt it has as much sound deadening or suspension compliance.

Eek. The old model has a stick axle out back, so hopefully this one doesn't, at least for passenger versions.
