Given how useless SUVs are with their open diff overheating traction control AWD systems, and how little ground clearance they have in addition to their long overhangs, this Prius is not any less competent off-road than those SUVs.

Well, now that the expert that does not seem to know the difference between a crossover and an SUV has spoken...

I agree. That does look rather interesting and would certainly sell, even if it sacrifices some of teh Prius'' economy.

And I agree, it would not be any less useless than your average car based cross over (Toyota could eve drop in a second rear electric engine form the RAV4, pretty much plug and play) but offering way better economy where these spend most of their life - in the city.

SUVs and crossovers are the same thing, it is just that the marketing department could not pull the stunt of calling crossovers with FWD SUVs. You thought SUVs were 4x4?

Does a trailer, that looks like it contains mostly a whirlpool and an A/C qualify as Prius news? I know the car in front is a Prius V (not a regular Prius though), but to me - without any useful knowledge of the Japanese language - it seems this is mostly about the trailer....

That's one of the best unveilings of this year, to be perfectly honest. Tired of all this other stuff.
