I fully agree. there is a BMW development center somewhere near i live, as I regularly have BMW prototypes (some with camo, others just with weird add on parts) around me on my morning commute; And since the first camoed X2 crossed my way, I was just thinking "Hyundai Tucson".

Don't get me wrong, the Tucson ios probably the best looking car in it's class in my eyes, at least among the affordable brands, but a BMW should not look like a Korean car, and not the newest as such as well. It is, however, not the first time, just saying Kia Carens vs. BMW 2 Series MPV....

As the industry matures, all cars (regardless of origin) are starting to look the same, IMHO, aside from the Japanese. And the Japanese designs can be so terrifying (esp Toyota), that I think I might want bland homogeneity to Toyota's predator face.... ;)

I also assume that the Koreans poaching European designers and engineers are also leading to Korean and European cars looking awfully similar.

It definitely beats the 10-year-old-used-car-styling approach of the rest of the BMW line.
