I like the JDM version better than the USDM, the design seems to flow better. It's funny how something as siple as a little headlight/tail light rework can improve the looks of a car

IMO the JDM model looks vastly better than the american version up front and somewhat worse from the rear. that said, i think i prefer the JDM, which really does look wonderful. looking at the USDM sedan again, it doesn't look that bad, but with a few minor modifications (lose that disgustingly awful, droopy bumper and lower air intake and exchange it for the coupe's or JDM sedan's, and make the badge up front actually slant at the same angle as the grille) and it would look alot better.

While the front end on the EURO Civic looks somewhat nicer, that rear end looks awkward to me.

i completely agree...
the USDM civic needs to have the Euro front, but the back is just fine

well i feel the u.s. front is fine, where it matches in well with the tsx and tl giving it a higher end image, which is wanted by many, yet still boring enough to not offend any customers, the only thing i think it needs is a more inspired lower front fascia, like that of the coupe or the jdm civic, as SV has said. either than that i find the rest of this car (apart fromt hat damned two spoke steering wheel) to actually have the things to appeal to most everyone, i still think the 3 overall is a much more inspired, and probably equally qualified compact car, but i find this new civic appealing in its own boring, yet daring (interior) approach

So we have seen the japanese and the US Civic sedan. Is there any pic of the european version? Or will it be the same than the japanese (i hope so)?

What was the point or rather, what was interesting about the two pictures of the tach? One is red for the Si, all others are blue, and the Si has a higher redline. Unless I am missing something.

ughh, why does america always get the worst of honda? the fugly ridgeline, boring accord, so-so crv, and now a so-so civic. and to top it off, we're not gettin the hot civic hatch. i like the jdm and euro civic so much better than the usdm.
