The only love expressed with regards to a vehicle of the pacifica's kind should be the making of it in the back of one with all of the seats folded down but never towards the vehicle itself. Quote me if you agree!

I saw my first new Accord up close and personal. It has a tremendously wonderful stance and proportions--just like the Civic sedan does--BUT--like the Civic sedan, the Accord's styling is ruined by stupendously bad detailing. If they turned the surface excitement knob from 10 back to 2, the Civic and Accord would be game changing.

Lots of speculation.
The HRV may still gain its Acura compadre, https://www.autoblog.com/2018/01/31/...atent-renewal/
The Avancier/URV potentially coming in between the CRV and Pilot in Honda's range.Think Crosstour Mark 2, but nowhere near as ugly. SIde view is very MDX, rear CRV, nose CRV cross Accord. Again with the 2.0T. The URV is closer in size to the first gen Pilot which will give it the space/width the Pilot drivers have become accustomed to and never saw in the packaging of the Crosstour.

I'm surprised the HRV isn't a Japanese Mercury--oops Acura--already. I'm also surprised it's taken so long for the "URV" to come to market. Don't even get me started on how dumb-sounding and incoherent the "RV" names are.

The vehicle coming in to fill the gap between the CR-V and Pilot is unlikely to be the Avancier etc., based on spy shots that indicate it's going to be it's own vehicle:

They already have that. They sell the CDX in China which is based on the HRV.

Honda wants to sell the CDX here in the US, but there is no factory that can build it right now. Perhaps Swindon could build it, but who knows as one plant in Japan is being shut down.
