Toyota can do a decent gaping grille like the one on JDM Crown models. How come they are messing up with USDM models.

Agree. Having seen them on a few cars, I think, "That's cool" for about 2 seconds. And then I actually find it kind of annoying.

It is, and on many of these cars using them, they are even less quick to see than a standard indicator. Ass it is not a flashing light but rather a running one, it's less instantly processed IMO by the exes. Probably we will get used toi them as more and more cars are using them, but it is more billboard advertising (in combination with overdone LED graphics Vegas strip) than actual indicator to me....
