Default 2018 Infiniti QX50

Looks exactly like the concept:

Never saw the concept live, but I think it's attractive enough. I don't know if it's b/c the QX30 is based on an MB, but I feel like the door handles of the QX50 look very much like those on a Mercedes (random, I know).

The bigger prob for Infiniti is that I don't know if this car will have much impact on the market. I think the original FX was startling in its overt sportiness. W/ Porsche, Jaguar, and the upcoming Alfa (as well as Infiniti's own move away from being the affordable alternative to a BMW), I'm not really sure why anyone would want to buy this. It's such a crowded segment....

I would never buy a truck (a rose by any other name), but I think it's quite nice looking.

Revealed in patent filing, the patent photos do make it look a bit drab but comparing it to the concept, it seems more or less identical apart from some minor styling details.

It looks meh to me, but then, I was never a fan of the concept. And Infiniti's rear pillar kink / treatment is beyond idiotic.
