Interior will be interesting. Entire 3/4 series range is so far behind the competition.

The rear lights seems to look very close to the Mercedes GLC coupe, and not like any other BMW. With engineering and all niches closely matched between the German premium brands, I doubt we want to see similar detailing as well....

Interesting. I think that the most recent MB coupes (incl the faux coupe SUV, I guess) have taillights that looks much like a BMW! ;)
I don't think the tailights pictured above look too dissimilar from a 6-Series....

Weird. The X4 is only a couple years old, and it's getting a FMC?
Could this be an X2 or something else?

no x2, it's the X4, it will have a shortened life cycle to move it to the new CLAR architecture.

Indeed, The base car (X3) is old and feels like it, especially on the inside, and due to this, teh X4 already didn'Ät exactly feel fresh when launched (and that is again already 3 years ago, time flies).
Also I can imagine that it has economic adavtages to move both the regular SUV as the hatchback version to the same platform as close in time as possible.

Also I think the rear end looks a lot like a Mercedes, a shame considering it's actually BMW whop made the first successful hatchback "SUV Coupe" (even if ssangyong had the actyon before)
