this looks good; i agree with some previous posts that the DLO is a bit funky; the A-pillar area is the part i have a problem with, it's like the designers wanted to do a GT-R style floating roof, but changed their minds halfway through. i don't mind the fastback profile though; it makes the car look more compact, which it apparently actually is.

interior is very similar to other nissan/infinitis as has been pointed out, but it still looks excellent.

i'm liking what i see so far. if this car really is significantly lighter than the old one, then i'm a fan.

It looks fussy and overdone. I was not a fan of the 350Z because of its huge rear end, but this updates the original in all of the wrong ways.

I'm with you on the A pillar, the top has that little groove and looks like they wanted to black it out, but then the base flows into the bonnet and wing. Doh!

I had what I thought was a great idea for the new 250Z (with a smaller turbocharged engine!) and so I'm a bit disappointed this doesn't match my sketches but it's still nice. Not as good looking as the Maxima but still nice. Looks too evolutionary in these pics though, as Domino said.

I'm also disappointed that they didn't change the droopy rear end. I would've loved it if the borrowed the rear end from the old Datsun 240Z.

I disagree with everything in this post.
