Nice cluster, but I'd add temperature and oil pressure gauges. Yes I know that idiot lights can pop up to issue dire warning of impending doom, but an Aston Martin should have a full gauge cluster even if technology renders that unnecessary.

9/10

Good point man. I did do this at midnight with a hangover :) hahaha. Dom is it possible for me to just add a new gauge to my cluster?

Great gauge cluster, mrf! However, the tach looks a bit off in terms of ellipse. The right side seems to pop out a bit more, but it's great nonetheless. I'll be posting mine this week, i've been a lot more busy at school lately since term marks cutoffs are happening.. but I do really love the bar you've set for us to follow, mrf =)

mrf, nice work, but I'm not a fan of those short stubby needles.

A hangover at midnight? Now THAT'S some living! :drunk: I didn't mean to sound critical hence the 9/10. An Aston Martin is a car to be driven and as such the sheer simplicity of your gauge cluster is a tremendous asset. No doubt we will see some whiz-bang, sci-fi designs that are edgy and quirky but eons away from being useful at a glance.

Haha thanks swizzle, yes the night before was brutal, that hangover was just bleak. Yeah i thought of doing some weird stuff but it wont look right in an aston. Simple yet elegant was my theme. Hope i pulled it off. Cheers guys. Look forward to seeing lots of entries!

I'm pretty rusty now, out of the groove and stuff, but I've been dying to get back in the contests. So, here you go...

That C Button stands for "corsa" or race, this is the race setting (you probably could've guessed that lol) The tachometer is in the middle where it should be, fuel gauge to the left and miles per hour on the right. The little circle is a display that will show pressures and other gauges that you can cycle through. The dials are inset with little fragments of quartz and the dials move AROUND the outside of the gauges instead of pointing to the outside. Hope you like it!

quality is a little bad, this is actually bigger than the size I drew it lol.

Nelson Design- quite a nice idea. Not a very elegant shape though dont u think? And those arrowhead dials look very familiar lol

tdi-cupra- a rather half hearted attempt i'd say? Its basic and i dont like the idea of digital read outs in an elegant super car such as aston martin
