looks slightly different from what we usually see in showrooms, though.

Between the Taurus, Caprice, and Charger, I really wonder who will get the biggest slice of the law enforcement market. Each vehicle has its pros and cons.

I see the Caprice and the Charger getting the bigger share, for their RWD attributes and the availability of V8s, and the Taurus, being FWD-bias may be less marketable, though would have to be AWD with the EcoBoost 3.5L V6 equipped pursuit vehicles. The Taurus, being from Ford, would likely be to it's advantage for the Crown Vic was a favorite of many departments, and is already far superior to the current FWD Impala supplied to police departments via GM. The Caprice, being a past favorite with law-enforcement (last one with BOF produced in 1996), as well as being RWD, will certainly be towards it's advantage. The Charger has gained great momentum, as it is! Also, you have the upstart, the Carbon Motors E7, which could have a smaller share, but it could gain momentum.

Between the small economies of scale, lack of support infrastructure, and the use of a more expensive diesel engine, I really don't see the Carbon project going anywhere.

Chrysler really needs the Charger to go gangbusters with law enforcement. I'd play up jingoistic the made in America angle big time because police officers tend to be all-American.

More shots here.

I see they're still afraid to show us the interior...

Uhm, I guess it's better because it doesn't look quite so cheap but...this will look new for maybe 6 months. Not impressive.

I like it, but mostly from the side and rear. The front...eh, I'm having trouble with that grille. It's...beaky.

i like it a lot, the rear end is very impressive and ties in nicely to teh challenger. not sure it's enough but it would've made a great 2005 model.
