Ah the classic "Fan Boy" scapegoat, always handy when it's exposed that you have done no research and are speaking from emotion rather than facts.

That's not what the industry is saying and the sales are already beyond Volvo's predictions so the money is talking too.

Agreed. Sales are sales; I think Volvo is quite pleased with the performance of the XC40 thus far. Who cares if they aren't equalling MB or BMW (which is quite subjective and depends on how you're looking at the competition)...they're doing just fine regardless.

In any event, the status of the XC40 is quite irrelevant to this conversation. The T-Cross isn't coming to the U.S.; we're getting the Taruk (or whatever they end up calling it) that China is also getting. So you two can keep going tit for tat if you want, but it really has nothing to do with the T-Cross anyway (and if you're comparing things, you should be comparing the T-Roc to the XC40, not this thing).

German magazines start driving prototypes;

Looks quite different to the teasers IMO, much less say planted, but somehow tall and narrow with small wheels, dare I say developing market model like (more Ford EcoSport than anything else, proportion wise). Still, being a VW; people (in Europe) will buy it.
