Default 2012 Porsche 911

Pics have been revealed of the new 911.

I have nothing against the side profile, it's very 911 like, the rear is almost carrera GT like but hmm not liking it that much...the front is almost too beetle like and the turn signals O_o need to be more inline with the air vents in the front, otherwise they look weird.

I'm liking the rear end but the rest of it leaves me a bit cold too; other than the odd turn signals that Ascariss pointed out there's not much that's worthwhile or different compared to the 997, design-wise.

It's a very welcome refresh. I love the much sleeker side profile, reserved exterior details, and straight foward interior. Yet, like the others said, the way those lights are shaped into the bumper is slightly akward.

perhaps we should put the word "series" on the thread title. we don't want to see a new thread for the coming 24 other variants...

meet the new 911 same as told 911. If people want nothing more than a German Morgan fine, but as sport coupes go, this is so easily outdone.

A nice evolution IMO, the rear will look right at home beside the 918 Spyder...
