Another thing to consider would be the torque and its availability.
This thing has monstrous amounts torque to help with towing and stuff. The 4.0 V8 diesel would still produce more torque compared to the V6 petrol hybrid...........so unless that changes anytime soon, the V8 diesel is still the winner on that aspect.
The engine might be powerful for towing, but the chassis not, in which case a cheaper Sprinter is better. The Sprinter also can have AWD.
