I don't even think they need to change the concept of the Grand Cherokee that much - why not offer a 7 seat version alongside? Range rover shows that they can have both a "family friendly" Discovery series and their Range Sport/Velar and sell enough pf them what high prices. It would be dumb not to make as many Jeep SUVs as possible...

this is previewing the Grand Wagoneer, which is the 7 seat vehicle to sit alongside the grand Cherokee. IMO looks great, and adds some much needed modernized design to the Jeep brand. front is a little too XC90 for me though.

I saw a picture of this from the show... much better than the renderings or professional pics released.

I have zero understanding why they wouldn't release this as the new Cherokee

Are we sure of that? I sure hope so, because this would be a great direction for the Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer. I picked up a 2017 Overland in November, but I'd like something bigger in a few years.
