It will look like the current model with slightly boxier detailing. What a surprise. AT least the brochure might work as a strong sedative ;)

The current Q3 is arguably the ugliest Audi recently.

This new thing improves the odd proportions a little bit, but it seems they wanted to keep it on the uglish side to keep the current customers returning for the new one

Not a surprise that the design will be inspired by its bigger brothers. The current Q3 while not a disaster in styling, feels frumpy and a tad overweight in appearance.

What. The. Hell. Is. Audi. Doing.

What are they thinking with that headlight shape? How? Why? It's 2017 and Mazda is making more elegant and slim headlights than Audi.

They have completely lost their game on detailing (this is more apparent on the new A8 which just looks worse after its debut).

Something about the greenhouse looks very awkward in profile, particularly the rear. The grille is plain nasty.

I have to agree about the A8. Seen one in flesh recently, in real life the long over hang/cab forward/FWD shape is even more apparent, and combine that with the flat and wide appearance some GM W body or Chrysler 90ies LX cars come to mind proportion wise. And the "more LED bling and chrome and fake exhaust" detailing approach really doesn't spell class to me...

Among the sea of VAG cross overs of the recent past, it is easy to forget that the rather old Q3 is still around; Well, here it is now the new MQB based one without any major camo, looking ready, and, well, like a Q8 copied at 90% setting on the photo copy machine.

And ofcourse there are fake exhuasts:

It's not a bad design, actually, but, if you slapped a VW badge on this, I wouldn't doubt it. The interior better be amazing b/c I can't see why you'd pay a premium for the Audi (aside from better reliability and service experience)?

It appears that this might be the best looking in Audi's crossover line-up. The Q7 is too boring, the Q5 looks too much like its predecessor, etc.

Hoping that they manage to find a reasonable medium between the screen heavy Q8/upcoming E-Tron and the A1, which looks just as bad...but I'm not holding my breath.

You took the words out of my mouth in regards to Audi. I've seen the new A7 a couple of weeks ago. How the hell they managed to &#^& up such a good design is really beyond me. The rear was particularly awful. What a shame, it used to be one of my favourite designs on the road
