Default 2019/20 DS DS3 Crossback

Citroen's (wannabe) posh subsidiary, DS, will receive a small CUV going against the likes of Audi Q2 and the Mini Countryman (which, as it seems unfortunately, has inspired the design as well)....

Unlike the still new and similarly sized Citroen C3 Cross (and it's Opel Crossland X cousin), this will be based of the new CMP platform, which will underpin all new small PSA veicles form the upcoming 208 Mk. II on. This also means an EV version will be available

well... I have to say that I -though a fan of the brand- am still not "bought" by it (or better, by the SUV "frenzy" as such) but... I don't understand what bothers you so much about it (except the fact that it's French), since it has practically identical shape and poportions as VW T-Roc that you found, if I remember correctly, as "the best looking VW in eons".... ;)

I think I can see to say that, while derivative, it should look better than the Q2 (it would be difficult to look worse than that, admittedly....). There is a certain Germanic quality to the "thickness" of this design, though....

Patent drawings "leaked"

Even the interior has leaked:

Apart form the shark fin alongside the window line (likely there to remind you of the currnet model) a pretty standard, nearly Audi like design on the outside, but very concept car like interior; Yes, another (warm to hot) hatch that becomes a 5 door cross over, whilst car people might not approve, this is what people buy; Just count how many T-Tocs are bought over higher end VW Golfs, e.g., in Europe.

The renders, to me, look very unattractive. Its fussy yes ordinary, in and out.

I agree, this is also what I meant by Audi like, busy yet boring at the same time;

Given their buying history, the French adore ugly cars and they adore bland cars, so this will be perfect for them as it is a mixture of both.

Somehow, and us car guys will never understand, people love them. So car makers make them. So yes, this is exactly what you describe...
