It looks like a done up production car, but doubt this will be in the 4 series price range, probably more expensive. Feels more like a grand tourer, along the lines of the 6 series or maybe even new 8 series.

Anyone know the sales figures of caddy in europe? All I could find is this page

http://carsalesbase.com/european-car...data/cadillac/

and it doesn't look good, more like abysmal

for US market, again not sure if accurate, it has a chance to sell in the states

Maybe even china but the XT5 is not even sold in china, only the larger CT6, the XT5 is the bigger seller though, so a larger suv, not escalde, would be the better bet and not a high end touring coupe.

This needs to be priced for sales otherwise it will be yet another also-ran like the ATS, CTS, and CT6. Having it be a 6/8 Series kind of vehicle for a 4 Series price is precisely how to turn it into a halo car of sorts. It ushers in gorgeous new styling and Cadillac needs it to be well-represented on the road. A halo car should be one that is fairly attainable and which sets a brand attitude rather than some BS cottage car like the NSX. I'm really hoping this does well.

Analysts are saying Cadillac is slow to respond to increasing sales for CUVs/SUVs. So what do they do? A coupe.
Concept or production vehicle.or whatever - Cadillac needs to listen to what the market is saying if they want to increase sales volume.

Rebadged underpowered FWD CUVs will not save Cadillac either.

The XT5 was their best selling vehicle last quarter. They sold 17,045. The next best selling Cadillac was the Escalade at 9,655. The third was the ATS at 3,785.
So their FWD CUV was the best selling vehicle by far (I won't say underpowered).

Cadillac desperately needs sales and the Cadillac Equinox oops XT5 is doing OK. It desperately needs 3 inches more wheelbase for rear seat comfort and at least another 6 inches--I'd go a foot--more overhang at the back for cargo.

The Cadillac Equinox2 oops XT4 will be a success if they lease it aggressively. It too is too small in wheelbase and overhang.

The Cadillac Traverse oops XT7 will have a tough time against the Aviator.

Cadillac needs more style, more size, and better platforms so that V versions can be done that wouldn't be laughable against Porsche.

The XT5 is a B- Lexus RX
The XT4 is a B- Lexus NX

Where is the Cadillac Macan?
