Although the current Sorento just underwent a facelift, Kia is already testing the next-generation SUV. This time, as is obvious in these pictures, the Sorento is growing to accommodate three rows of seating. In addition to the larger size, the Sorento will also move upscale. -Brenda Priddy

I'm not so sure that's a kia, the grill looks awful fordish to me.

I also doubt it is a Kia - Neither grille nor the interior look like a Kia (could be US-Ford, but then again they have already like 15 SUVs or so, so i dounbt that as well)

ANd it looks way bigger than the current Sorrento, and giving up the ML-Class like styling which made the Sorrento so popular would not be a clever move. Just count how many of the boxy Hyundai Terracan are driving around (and compare to Sorrento)

Could it be a future Lincoln? The interior looks very close to a Lincoln. But the design of the exterior doesn't fit Lincoln's designs. New Hyundai Terracan?

That thing like a whole lotta Ford. And as mick78 said, why would you give up Merc styling to copy a ford?

It is a Kia. Sorento is moving upscale (interior) and getting a 3rd row.

It's certainly not a 2007MY though. It's a 2009.

Edit: Ermm...nevermind its the Mesa. See my post on page 2.

Thanks CD-BP!!

It looks longer than the Santa Fe, or maybe not?

EDIT: 7:56PM - looks like Autoblog picks up the designation of 2008/9
