Default 2018 FIAT Panda S 120hp GSE-Firefly Turbo.

Quick render, nothing special.
FCA could create a FIAT Panda S with the all new 120hp/190Nm, 999cc, 3 cylinder GSE-Firefly Turbo engine.
Further with 6.5Jx16" 500S wheels, wrapped in 205/45R16" tires and a 35mm lowered Sport suspension.

Looks good, would have added more sportier bits around the front and made the mirrors black.

No fiat logos on the rims?

Btw, i don't see this Panda S, as in Sport, more like S as in Super.
In the past there where FIAT's with a S add-on, for a more powerful version.
Just a engine upgrade over the existing engines, being at this point the 85 TwinAir Turbo.
It could be a Lounge S version, with the S referring to the more powerful engine.
A Panda sport would even cost more because of the sport extra's, instead of just a engine power upgrade.

Btw, i would choose "Panda" decals on the centre cap, like they do with the 500.

A re-imagined Panda built off of Dart mechanicals could have been a better move for Fiat in the USA than the patently terrible 500X.

Every 500 spin-off is a failure, the 500L does not sell that well, as does the 500X.
The 500L will not be renewed and ends after this life cycle, also the 500X's future is uncertain.
The Panda get renewed in 2020, and road testing of the replacement starts this coming September.
The plan is to withdraw FIAT from the USA and withdraw Chrysler from Europe.
But with the passing of Sergio Marchionne everything can change.

The not succession of the 500L makes sense, despite it enjoying a certain popularity in mostly Southern Europe, thanks a to being a spacious and cheap family car, but frankly, all these small MPVs are actually bettered in any way by the likes of a Citroen Berlingo, at an even lower price;

The 500X will IMO certainly live on, as a t least it's jeep cousin is a huge success, so the tech is there, and a different dress won't cost much to develop; Probably not making it an exact 500 clone might help....

Withdrawing Chrysler from Europe is something that IMO mostly has happened, even if for the lack of products (I think the Voyager/Pacifica and 300 died with Lancia in most markets), and tbh, Chrysler lacks products relevant for Europe as Fiat does for the US. The Hellcats, RAM trucks (mostly sold "unofficially") and Jeep cater the US car fans much better than a huge MPV....

TBH, i would not be surprised to see a "FIAT Tipo" style front on the face-lifted Panda.
Now that from Italy seeps through that the Panda get a fairly thorough update at the end of this year.
That would be the first time for the successful model from 2012.
The in Pomiglano d’Arco produced small five-door will both optically and technically updated.
On the outside, the new model will be identified as new.
Under the hood we will finally see the new GSE-Firefly (1.0 three-cylinder) engine and a mild hybrid system.
The new engine for the renewed Panda is going (as said) to be produced in Termoli.
In the interior the Uconnect screen (as we have seen in other Fiat’s to know), will be integrated into the new dashboard.

I wonder if the fairly thorough update will also eliminate the squaricle theme of the present Panda.

According to rumors about the end 2019 facelift for the Panda, could result in a lot of Centoventi Concept design elements ending up in the Facelift style of the Panda, especially at the front of the car.
Also the new FIAT letter logo could appear on the car.

A facelift Panda with a CentoVenti design style front could look cool.
