The sketches make it look reasonably attractive. A shame the real life pictures bring us back to the reality that it isn't.

Facelift for the small Hyundai typical mid cycle updates (slightly different grille, new colors, new touch screen running your typical Hyundia/Kia infotainment, engine updates).





Altogether, the car didn't look overly fresh when released, and IMO this facelift ca't hide the age either, especially inside, also compared to a Kona or i30.

With LED tech, head- and taillights could/should get much smaller. Yet the opposite is happening. Why? This small Kia looks ridiculous with such huge lights. Worst offender is the new BMW 5 Series.

I find it quite attractive. It's "Euro" looking without the ugliness of French extreme.

The taillights looked much better pre-facelift. A backward step IMO.
