Again, just like with the (uglier, but in an other, rebadged Audi kind of way) Bentley Bentyaga - to me, there has been the perfect answer for decades if I want to buy a British luxury SUV - the classic Range Rover. And no one does it better. Not Bentley. Not Rolls. The Range has more style than both combined, and is an icon. These are made for Chinese and Arab nouveau riche and Russian mobsters, though after a short business trip to Dubai last week I can say even there the Bentyaga isn't exactly flooding the streets, unlike say a Range Rover or Mercedes G63, let alone various loaded Land Cruiser versions. So, lets hope the Russians like them more...

The Bentley Bentiguan is laughable compared to a Range Rover. Does anyone really want their Rolls Royce dirty from all that mud bogging? I think not.

the Bentley never had the right platform to look the part. it was less noticeable on the continental back when it shared the A8? platform, but on a ultra lux SUV, the proportions are all wrong. The Rolls at least gets that part right and to me, looks like an ultra lux range rover anyway. the problem with the range rover is it has a bouncy truckish ride, at least in non SVR guise, and an infotainment that has no business in a car with this pricetag. hopefully the new Velar system is less buggy.

I wouldn't count on that. Indian ownership hasn't seemed to made much of a dent in traditional English crap electronics....

For me, I'd saving my $ to get an Aviator (which will probably do 95% of the what the others do for about 60% of the price... a Lincoln SUV also has a decent amount of cache, even if it's not ultra-lux), but if I had to choose from Rolls, Bentley, or Range Rover I'd... choose the exterior of a Range Rover w/ the interior of a Bentley.
