It is--the two vehicles will share a production facility and will come down the same line. But one of the photos shows the 500X body-in-white.

It looks 1000% better than the mechanically similar Jeep Retrograde.
I'd call it a Fiat Panda in NA and not 500X. The 500 should be the 500 and nothing else.

I think this is a classic example of a colossal marketing failure. Given where the compact CUV market is, and this being a good looking product (with an attractive price) - these things should be flying off the lots.
