I guess that is a Camera frequency thing, but it could also be a US market indicator or simply a defect (this is a prototype after all)

About the interior: I think that that Prius like mini shifter does not feel that sports car like, and the cup holder seems overly dominant. Otherwise I'm glad they keep the analogue rev counter and general classic "911 instrument panel" shape....

More changes than expected; I love the clean look without many details, but it weirdly looks more McLaren than "911" to me...

Styling a new 911 has to be the easiest job on the planet.

How so? The rear valence? Doesn't seem much at a ll like a McLaren to me, although I've only seen a few.

I just wonder how much bigger the car will get. The current gen doesn't seem like a tiny-ish car to me anymore....

Integrating the engine vents into the rear glass is a nice way to clean up the design. This is as incrementally better as you can get at this point. Interior will be the big improvement.

This is very similar to a render I've seen online which also sports the same rear wing treatment. You can also see the front in the concave mirror. From that angle, it looks a little like Lamborghini's 'New Miura' showcar a few years back.

The rear is the biggest change. Looks shorter and stumpier. I don't particularly like the look of the plastic. I'm sure it will look rather good in person though.

The rear is a significant improvement and that's the most important view anyway. It's what people are most likely to see as a 911 blasts by you.

That said, I agree about the amount of black plastic, it's a bit too much (in general, in the Volkswagen group there seems to be a current love for maximizing amount and size of black plastic grilles - usually fake ones, here thankfully not - on the outside), but doesn't really ruin the 911 here.
