2020 Cadillac XT6

Nothing special, looks like a mix between the Honda Pilot and the Subaru ascent.

It's clean and handsome, though I hate to admit the design could pass as a very nice Chevy or GMC too. The bowtie wouldn't look out of place on the grille instead.

In other words it's not as individual, bold or interesting as their past designs under "Art and Science". I guess I need to see it in person but it's definitely looking more Generic European rather than having that fancy and shameless American boldness Cadillacs should have.

Cadillac Traverse.

This is especially bad because it is so terribly generic looking. Too bad it won't have a base of $40K.

This just isn't special enough to be a Cadillac. it will probably sell with steep discounts, but the Traverse will have everything this does for 60% of the cost.

Agreed with everyone above. This is a let-down. The interior also appears identical to the XT5, which debuted as a 2017, so it will now be in its 4th model year when this debuts; that’s a major misstep especially when the XT5 interior already has its fair share of critics.

Generic, bland, banal. This marks Cadillac's move towards becoming what Lincoln was for years - rebadged versions of lower value marques.

Itís good not great. Certainly not worthy of the heritage of Cadillac; more like a rush to get the new face onto a CUV.... itís the 2019 Cimarron in spirit

This could have been so much better... The front is nice. The rest is parts-bin bland. DLO and shape scream Pilot. The tail lights look wrong for an SUV. I don't know why Cadillac has gotten so timid with their lighting. Those lights look blobby and not nearly as sharp as they should be. Same interior across their lineup now (not an inherently bad thing, it could just use some updates).

It's not Cimarron bad. It's just not a design that is emotional.
It speaks "safe."
They will sell a bunch if they aren't ridiculous with the pricing as in past efforts.

Looks like a Chinese knock off of the Volvo XC90. Cmon Cadillac... you can’t find an original way to instill Cadillac heritage into this type of product?

My expectations weren't super high but yeah, this is disappointing. The front looks a bit odd; the grille is a bit too small and the lower (fake) intakes are too big. Something more like the Escala, with simpler lower openings and a taller upper grille, would have been more distinctive and less awkward.

The rest of it looks pretty generic, not bad but bland. Honestly that drab brown color doesn't help, it looks better in silver.

Overall, meh. The Enclave and Traverse are both excellent so I'm sure this will be as well. But what does it offer to justify the extra cost? It's got the same 3.6L V6 and a marginally nicer interior, while I actually think the Enclave is prettier. The twin turbo V6 from the CT6 would help justify the premium, but there's no sign of that yet.
