IMO this is horrible and it just screams cheap econobox - and it certainly isn't cheap in Europe.

I believe it'll be a total sales flop at least in EU.

I'm pleasantly surprised coming off the leaked images. It certainly won't win any beauty prizes, but it's a lot cleaner and more modern. I appreciate how honest it is, but it also retains a level of Japanese quirkiness.

Interior is the star here. Feeling some vibes from the EV.
I wish this we're coming to the US.

Clearer interior pics of the Jazz with the nav screen, etc:

It's shocking in its terribleness.

This looks pretty good inside and out.

I’d actually be pretty irritated if Honda skips the USA.

I agree that it's forthright and true to what it is. The interior looks really good, and I like the front end treatment. I get second gen vibes in the profile. I like it. I think it would be a mistake not to bring it to the U.S. as the car has a cult following, and Honda gives up this space to its competitors. Part of why volume is down is production was disrupted at Celaya by flooding, and the disruption lasted for months. I have one friend who went elsewhere due to unavailability.

I'll confess I'm hardly objective. I've been a fan since the first one, and own a third gen. I wouldn't trade mine for the world: it's just so right.

I’m pretty sure they’re just not sure where they can build it. I don’t think federalization would be super hard for this model.

The Celaya plant only makes the HRV now.

It has actual glass in the quarter panel. Most economy cars usually cheap-out and thicken the pillar. It looks cheap at first glance, but it seems to be expensively constructed where it counts.

There is usually a difference in the definition of quality, some like a soft touch upper dash board (and define quality by who has the softest), others will look at details where it actually benefits construction or reliability;
