Not sure if the Panasomething (AMG GT) grille is not only for the GLC Coupe, as the prototype is after all one, and the regular version seems to retain the regular grille. Would make sense to give the "coupe" a generally more sporty appearance,,,

Don't give MB ideas!

The GLC coupe looks like it has the "diamond" grille used on other AMG models that don't have the Panamera grille (but w/ inner edge of the headlights canted a different way, a la the SL). Not really an attractive look, to my eyes, since the rest of the design is soft and rounded.

Tailight lighting is considerably diff from what we have seen previously from MB....

Lol I enjoy how many variations of the grille name are being thrown out there: it’s panamericana

The diamond-block grille is not the panamericana grille. It’s also not on AMG models...otherwise we wouldn’t have already seen it on the A Class sedan, the new GLE, etc.

This is the panamericana grille:

This is the standard AMG grille:

This is the diamond-block grille seen in the spy shots, which is present on non-AMG variants:

Eh, when you name your weirdly toothy (if fairly historic) grille after a hugely successful model from a competitor, you should expect people to f*ck up the name. ;)

Agreed, every fairly weird and/or overly long car name (Qashqai, TOuareg, Panamericana,....) calls for some word play IMO....
