Default 2020/21 Toyota Yaris

A proper new Yaris on the way, even if its seems so far mostly for Europe;
Already testing in GR Sport and Hybrid versions;

The GR Sport:

The regular/Hybrid one

Well, this is certainly on some way TNGA based, although it does look rather tiny (especially that rear door gives very little hope that this will be a spacious super mini in the way the first two generations were), and despite being (likely) unrelated to the Mazda 2 (which is teh US Yaris), the tiny rear end does somehow still give Mazda vibes;

The front end somehow carries on the theme of teh current model (and the Aygo), but as a result seems unrelated to the new Corolla visually;The side view and the interior however are very clearly a recent Toyota, that infotainment seems identical to most new TNGA cars.It also appears to get a proper HUD, from that interior shot

The article expects a debut i 2020, though given how finished these look (and Toyota usually doesn't seem to have finished prototypes around for too long), I wouldn't be surprised if it debuts later this year....

swizzle is on a distinguished road

That is unspeakably ugly looking. The Yaris has never been attractive, but this look like they are trying to make it terrible looking.
