Pretty sure it's just a concept version of that TLX leak from a couple weeks ago.

You're exactly right.

Overall, a solid 8 out of 10; for Acura an 11 out of 10.

But concepts are one thing...production is another.

A bit Alfa-esque, which I think works well for Acura (the original TSX, the 2nd gen TL).

And this is what I fear. Will Acura have the courage to build this? It's not even that outlandish, so they really have no reason NOT to. But the leaked photos of the next TLX don't look that similar to me....

Well summed up; I like it, but I'm careful with getting overly excited about concepts. A bit uglier production detailing could make the 8 quickly a 5....

It appears sharp and sleek, and with RWD proportions, even though front-drive and possibly and AWD variant. If this has that twin-turbo V6 that Acura is reported to later introduce, it would have to be AWD. This also appears more upmarket and larger than the soon-to-be outgoing TLX model, which makes sense for it's reported that the RLX will soon be cut, and if the production Type S is larger, then the RLX is irrelevant. Still, I would have rather seen the small ILX cut, rather than the RLX. Still and all, an admirable effort from Acura and a nice direction. I'll look forward to the next MDX, too!
