https://www.netcarshow.com/ford/2019-fusion/

Rather surprisingly, the Ford Fusion is given another facelift for the 2019 MY; Boxier lower bumpers (and fog lights), that don't match the rest of the design too well IMO; Mind you though, in Europe even the firts facelift hasn't arrived yet on the Mondeo...

You get now Ford Co-Pilot360 (a bundle of most assist systems) as standard on all trims, otherwise not much news, and I guess the lack of interior shots (plus mentioning Sync 3, already ion the current model) mean no updates inside....

Wow. That looks worse than the current one. Why would they mess with the bumpers? That chrome mesh is really dated as well. Why bother with a refresh to the exterior at all? They could have modified the headlight internals and let it be.

The grille is a huge improvement. The tail is a giant leap backward. Why bother given that it's getting canned.

I'm pretty sure it is to milk the current generation, extend it's life span, given that here will be no new model (outside China). I have that bad feeling it will end like the Cron Vic or Taurus, overstay the welcome way long as a fleet special. This is the first step obviously....

It's a 'I don't get it' update -but arguably, this is still one of the best looking, handling and value sedans on the market. I believe Fusion sales are actually up as well.

The rear is virtually the same minus the bumper cladding and chrome bar delete?

The front and rear changes are a backward step if anything. Still seriously underrated and invisible here in Australia (although Ford here are next to useless when it comes to selling cars).

And that minor change makes it discordant and strange looking.

The Tesla Model S looks like a giant, bloated Fusion if anything.
