I think the origami interior door panels are AMAZING, but I don't know how I feel about the crystal elements. I also still can't help but think that this is a really elegant re-design of the LaCrosse every time I see a photo....

I do think the concept should have had more weight in the final design, but I still love it. The stance and DLO are gorgeous. Some of the detail work on the F sport model is iffy (also fake vents on the rear...) but the rest is very very good. The interior is a home run too.

The G90 can't hold a candle to this really imo. It's dated-looking already while being derivative.

Agreed, the C pillar should have been more vertical, anchoring the design more traditionally. But I doubt the similarity will exist when viewed in real life with true rear wheel drive proportions as God intended!

One can only hope! But, yes, agree that the C-pillar looks like it was redesigned after the rest of the body had been settled upon.

Wonder if the twin-turbo V6 will somehow find it's way into the next non-F GS (should a next GS be forthcoming....)? And if Lexus will abandon the touchpad.

That stupid touchpad (I havent used one, and dont own a vehicle with any infotainment) should have been resolved by now. Lexus has gone center stage with styling (or the gutter) and yet it somehow remains.

before the idrive era, their touchscreen interface was one of the most liked

I dont have a tone of faith in automotive photography as far as vehicle proportions and depth perceptions go. Lenses play such tricks in order to capture the representation of a large field onto (typically) a 35mm digital sensor that the true fundamental shape of the subject is often lost.

Why is the engine compartment shrouded in plastic?
