MY2019 Facelift:

https://www.netcarshow.com/renault/2019-kadjar/
https://www.carscoops.com/2018/09/fa...-turbo-petrol/

Usual facelift stuff, new bumpers outside (including the nowadays so fashionable fake exhausts), updated light graphics, and a new center stack, with a much neater integration of the screen, Android Auto but also the loss of a proper volume button (about as much loved fashion by me as fake exhausts); New AC controls look cleaner and more upscale (and are no longer shared with the Qashqai)

More news on the engine side, where the new 1.33 petrol replaces the older 1,2 in higher tune, available with both 140 and 160hp (amnual or EDC), the same unit as in the new Mercedes A-Class;

ALso shared with the Mercedes is the updated 1.5 dci with now 115hp , and the 1,6dci is replaced with a 1,8, that finally gets the 20hp bump to align with the class standard 150hp. That unit is also available with 4wd, manual or EDC (the smaller unit will receive an auto box only later), both Diesels also gaining an SCR system (naturally, as more or less required to comply with newest standards).

Well, technically it is mostly a reskinned Qashqai (Rogue Sport) with a longer rear overhang, so naturally it looks a lot like a Nissan, though in flesh slightly more distinct than in pics.

And whilst the Kadjar is easily the most "Nissan" Renault (well the Koleaos can also hardly hide it'S Nissan genes), in general there will be similarities given how they share platforms; E.g., I find the new European Micra to look very Renault, despite all the Leaf like detailing.

The Renault Kadjar is one of the few cars in the world to combine Diesel and CVT.

Is Diesel CVT still available with this facelift?

I think the Kadjar uses a DCT, and it seems that both Diesels do; The Koleos however uses a CVT, and IMO there are no plans to abandon it; Technically, a Diesel's high low end torque should be favorable for a CVT, and make for a smooth experience;

Makes sense...........although strangely, it's the high torque level that makes it hard for CVTs to be mated to diesel engines or engines with high torque levels (unless it is a hybrid)

But yeah, I would love to have a Diesel CVT automobile :)
