Looks like every small VW sedan in the last 10 years, especially the myriads of variations made in China. I also sincerely hope this is not a preview of the upcoming Polo, as lame as the "upgrade" is....

Also, among the phtos in the one link is a preview of the T-Roc:

That looks like a rebadged Skoda Fabia. Another super boring design....

This would make a great entry level VW for the US and allow them to push Jetta upscale a bit.

It's fine for what it is. Yes, it's typical VW dull, but we've seen much, much worse.

So it's a new car with decade-old styling. Obviously a VW.

Just remove the 'T' and you have what it is...a virus.

It's laughable that anyone thinks either of those renderings suggest that those vehicles would make good offerings in the U.S.

If they could be sold for say a $14K base / $16K nicely equipped, they would sell like mad. Moreover, they would be VWs priced like the consumers expect VWs to be.

Ha love the text in the photo

"The pictured vehicle is not for sale yet and therefore is not subject to rule 1999/94/ec"

The 'car labelling Directive' (Directive 1999/94/EC) aims to raise consumer awareness on fuel use and CO2 emission of new passenger cars. By doing so consumers should be incentivised to purchase or lease cars which use less fuel and thereby emit less CO2

Perhaps, but they wouldn't be.
